Gasparinisaura (name meaning "Gasparini's lizard") is a genus of ornithopod dinosaur that lived in South America during the Late Cretaceous period.
A group of Gasparinisaura was first seen travelling over a volcanic swamp with a herd of Argentinosaurus. The giant herbivores churned up the sand and turned it to quicksand. Many Gasparinisaura fell in and sank to their deaths. They were then seen browsing with the Argentinosaurus but ran away when a pack of Mapusaurus appeared.
