The African desert is a desert in North Africa.
Lost World:
The African desert is first featured in Lost World. It contains the Onchopristis River which is very likely to be part of the Kem Kem River Delta. It is also part of both the Spinosaurus' and the Carcharodontosaurus' territory. The most memorable scene with the African Desert in the background is the entrance of the Carcharodontosaurus.

The African Desert may be the same desert where the Paralititan is mired in mud.
